Direct from the grower
We grow it and we pack it
No agent in the middle, no third party warehouse, and no mystery about where the fruit came from. When you ring about an order you get the people who cut it.

Packed the day it is cut
Fruit comes off the bush into field bins, gets graded under the shed, and goes into cartons for the order it belongs to. There is no holding stock, which is why a carton leaves the shed as fresh as the pick it came from.
It also means we can pack to your specification rather than ours. If you want a particular grade, a particular count, or the fruit a little greener because it has three days of travel in front of it, say so on the order.
Direct, in both directions
Selling direct means the price you pay is the farm price plus freight, with nobody in between adding a margin for handling a carton twice. It also means a problem gets fixed by the person who caused it rather than passed along a chain.
The trade off is that we are a farm, not a distribution centre. We pick to a schedule rather than holding stock, and when the weather does something unhelpful we will tell you straight away rather than quietly short your order.
